How to Make Your Profile Get Noticed by the Brands
2023/10/13
First impressions last. Time to dress up your profile and make a great first impression on your future employer.
Think of making your profile on MyBRANDS as picking a great outfit before going out to a party. Keep it classy, refined and pay attention to those little details.
1. Add great pictures
Most people are extremely visual so ADD THOSE PICTURES, please. This is your opportunity to show your personal fashion style and your portfolio as a model, photographer or designer.
t’s worth it to invest into professional photoshoots if you don’t already have good quality photos. Honestly, this will pay off.
Quick advice for your avatar photo:

Not Good
Selfie, Not professional look, Distracting background
Professional headshot, Professional stylish look, clear background
Good
But don’t stop with just an avatar photo. Upload at least 3-4 pictures to show what you are really about.
Describing your past experiences in your profile is very important, but nothing says more about your style than a good photo.
After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, right?

Examples for you to get some inspiration:
2.Fill out the Profile section
Profiles that are completely filled out are 64% more likely to get noticed by the brands.
Adding your location, availability, current and expecting salary helps companies immediately understand if you could be a good match.
3.Work on “About me” section
Avoid empty and generalised phrases like “great problem-solving and leadership skills”. Instead, think about the things that make you unique and noticeable. If it helps, make a list of all your achievements and experiences in the recent years. Then come back to this list in an hour and see what stands out.
